Hockey Teams Go Pink for Charity All across North America this winter hockey teams are helping Cancer research by holding "Pink in the Rink" and "Paint the Rink Pink" nights. The Heritage Stick Co. is very proud to have supplied many of these teams with souvenir hockey sticks that are being autographed and either auctioned off or sold during the games to raise much needed funds for research. In the Ontario Hockey League the Belleville Bulls, Mississauga St. Michael's Majors and Niagara Ice Dogs all held special nights. The Major's even painted the entire ice surface Pink, along with Jersey's and Socks! Other teams that Heritage has worked with this season included the St. Louis Blues, Hamilton Bulldogs, Tampa Bay Lightning, Buffalo Sabres Alumni, Red Deer Rebels, Oldtimers Hockey Challenge, Manitoba Moose and the Anaheim Ducks. |
